Orador: Bruno Vieira
Resumo: Bruno just submitted his Ph.D. thesis in Population Genomics of arthropods. The bioinformatics work he developed during his research led to some unexpected outcomes and an uncommon career path for academia. In this talk, he will share some of his research but also how by doing open science and open source he ended up with a Mozilla fellowship and working for startups.
